How to Reach STS Dholanji
Dolanji is an area near Solan in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is famous for its Bon Monastery, which one of the main tourist attractions in the Sirmour district.

By Bus
First one can reach at Solan and it is approachable by road from Shimla and Chandigarh. Regular bus services connect both the cities with Solan. Chandigarh is an hour’s drive from Kasauli while Delhi can be reached in five and a half hours.
Limited direct bus service from Solan to Dholanji, but one can take bus from Solan to Oarchghat and then hire taxi for 4km.
By Air
The nearest airport is at Shimla at a distance of 65 km. Flights from Shimla operate to Delhi and Kullu. Second nearest airport is Chandigarh airport and will take 84 km from Dholanji. Taxis are easily available from Shimla airport to reach Solan and then Dholanji. One can also get Delhi is the nearest international airport at a distance of 315 km.
By Train
Solan is well connected by the UNESCO world heritage railway – the Kalka-Shimla railway. Kalka in turn is a broad guage that connects the city to other major cities such as Chandigarh, Shimla, Barog, Delhi, Dehradun, Amritsar, etc. From the Solan railway station, one can hire local taxis to reach at Dholanji. Limited direct Buses are also available.
